Instructions for using our urine drug test cup (AS/NZS 4308:2023)
- Prepare your consumables and check the cup is within its expiry date.
- Give the cup to the donor and ask for a urine sample above the minimum level (30mL).
- Once the sample is collected, screw the lid on tightly.
- Check the temperature using the green colour indicator. It must read between 32°C and 38°C.
- Tilt the cup on its side to activate the test.
- Read the adulteration tests to see whether each result is Normal or Abnormal. First strip: OXI, SG and PH. Second strip: NIT, GLUT and CREA.
- Read the drug test strip results. If test lines are not appearing, wait at least 5 minutes before interpreting the result.
- Interpret the result. A Control (C) line and a Test (T) line both present is a Negative result. A Control (C) line present with the Test (T) line absent is a Not-negative result.
