Instructions for using our urine drug test cup (AS/NZS 4308:2023)

  1. Prepare your consumables and check the cup is within its expiry date.
  2. Give the cup to the donor and ask for a urine sample above the minimum level (30mL).
  3. Once the sample is collected, screw the lid on tightly.
  4. Check the temperature using the green colour indicator. It must read between 32°C and 38°C.
  5. Tilt the cup on its side to activate the test.
  6. Read the adulteration tests to see whether each result is Normal or Abnormal. First strip: OXI, SG and PH. Second strip: NIT, GLUT and CREA.
  7. Read the drug test strip results. If test lines are not appearing, wait at least 5 minutes before interpreting the result.
  8. Interpret the result. A Control (C) line and a Test (T) line both present is a Negative result. A Control (C) line present with the Test (T) line absent is a Not-negative result.
