Drug and Alcohol Testing Officer Training in Henderson

Get certified to perform workplace drug and alcohol testing at our face-to-face course in Henderson. HLTPAT010 is nationally recognised and completed in one day.

HLTPAT010 Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing

HLTPAT005 has been superseded by HLTPAT010, the current nationally recognised unit of competency for workplace drug and alcohol testing. If your organisation conducts testing, moving to HLTPAT010 keeps your program compliant and protects its legal integrity.

The unit covers confirming collection requirements, preparing the client and equipment, and collecting specimens by urine, oral fluid and breath. You learn the theory and the practical skills, plus the record-keeping that goes with the role.
